Clear a list. Share the love.

Clear the Lists is a partnership between Chatham County Schools, the Chatham Education Foundation, and The Local Church—helping teachers get what they need to create safe, supportive, empowering classrooms.

Each year, teachers spend hundreds of dollars out of pocket on basic classroom supplies they need. We believe they shouldn’t have to—and together, we can help.

How It Works

  • Line drawing of a receipt with a heart symbol at the top, and a pencil signing or writing on it, on a purple circular background.

Teachers share their classroom wish list.

Too often, teachers spend hundreds of dollars of their own money to stock their classrooms with essentials. By sharing their wish lists, they give our community a direct way to help meet those needs—so they can focus on teaching, not footing the bill.

  • Shopping cart icon with a plus sign indicating adding items, on a blue circular background.

We organize them and post them in one place.

Instead of teachers having to ask over and over again—or supporters wondering where to start—we gather every list in one easy-to-browse hub. This makes it simple to see what’s still needed and choose where you can make the biggest difference.

  • Blue circle with white checkmark inside.

You buy what you can, directly from their lists.

Every item you purchase goes straight to the teacher, replacing what they’d otherwise have to pay for themselves. Whether it’s one notebook or a set of headphones, your gift lightens their load and puts tools for learning directly into students’ hands. It’s a win-win.

Ready to make a difference?

We can’t promise every list will be cleared, but we can promise that every item helps, and every share matters. Thanks for joining this effort to care for our classrooms, one wish list at a time.
